A Christmas Quiz is always great fun but when Kate sets the questions you are in for a treat.
So it was on Saturday, 7 December 2024 at Whalley Masonic Hall a quiz set with families in mind was had. Some 7 teams competed for the honour of being crowned 2024 champions. That honour fell to The Christmas Clarets – guess where they hail from!!
Supper was whatever pie you fancied with either beans, mushy peas or gravy or a combination of any or all of them. Hot dogs for the kids (and at least one of the adults – you were spotted Brother Bond!).
All the hard work to organise such an event paid off as everyone seemed to win a raffle prize.
Lots of fun for all ages and over £300 raised for worthy causes. Congratulations to MAK & Kate. BRILLIANT event!!
